PowerFence™ is the Ibex Gallagher brand of electric fence. The system enables the control of intruders by giving them a short, sharp but safe shock, which is sufficiently memorable that they never forget it.
A typical installation of solar PowerFence for animal control comprise an Energizer and accessories known as the "Base Unit" are the physical fence components such as wires, insulators and posts.
The Energizer emits a high voltage pulse every 1.2 seconds. Any animal when it comes in contact with the fence strands receives a 'short' 'sharp' and 'safe' shock. The sudden muscular spasam experienced by the animal is physically harmless as it does not cause any physical injury
